Women's Centre Waitakere was established in 1983 by a collective of like minded women wanting to bring about a change in our community and offer women and children a place to gather, seek support and advice and advocate on their behalf. We continue to work with women and children from the same site since our inception. The Centre is a safe space for women to access services such as counselling, workshops and courses, food/clothing and information regarding other community services. The Centre is committed to a future based on Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
We are located in Te Atatu South in West Auckland. Our services operate from McLeod Road in Te Atatu South. We are on the corner of Te Atatu Road and McLeod road right by the lights. Full details can be found on our Contact Page.
